Texas Jury Finds for DuPont in Asbestos Case




BEAUMONT -- A Texas jury has reached a verdict in favor of DuPont, rejecting allegations that a former pipefitter's exposure to asbestos at one of the defendant's facilities was a cause of his mesothelioma. Whisnant, et al. v. DuPont, et al., No. E-0159183-Q (Texas 172nd Dist. Ct., Jefferson Cty.).

The Texas 172nd District Court for Jefferson County jury reached the verdict March 25 after a five-week trial and two days of deliberations.
