PHILADELPHIA - Asbestos plaintiff Thomas Baston got more than he bargained for earlier this month when he brought his personal injury claim before a jury in Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas.
photo-1The 61-year-old Baston was seeking damages for asbestos-related injuries as part of a multi-plaintiff case being tried Jan. 8 in Philadelphia. He was about to take the stand when word of his criminal record and outstanding arrest warrant quietly surfaced.
