Los Angeles Jury Awards $1.12 Million in Case Involving GM Diesel Motors

LOS ANGELES -- General Motors has been found 27 percent liable at the conclusion of a mesothelioma trial involving its diesel engines, in which a jury awarded $1.12 million to the plaintiffs. Ledford, et al. v. General Motors Corp., et al., No. BC360164 (Calif. Super. Ct., Los Angeles Cty.).
The Los Angeles County Superior Court jury reached the decision on Nov. 6 after a trial presided over by Judge Aurelio Munoz.
