SEATTLE - A Washington state appeals court has reversed a lower court's award of summary judgment to an asbestos supplier sued by the family of a shipyard worker who died of mesothelioma. The appeals court ruled that in awarding summary judgment, the trial court erroneously threw out testimony from a former co-worker that the court deemed contradictory. Sesko v. Saberhagen Holdings, Inc., No. 47095-7-I (Wash. App., Div. 1).
