SAN FRANCISCO -- A jury has rejected claims asserted by representatives of the estate of a former pipeline worker who allegedly developed mesothelioma after exposure to asbestos-containing cement pipe. Motheral v. Calaveras Asbestos Ltd., et al. No. 424870 (Calif. Super. Ct., San Francisco Cty.).
The verdict was reached on Sept. 11 after a 21-day trial overseen by Judge John K. Stewart of the San Francisco Superior Court.
