PITTSBURGH - A Pennsylvania appellate court has affirmed a $1.4 million judgment to the family of a man whose malignant mesothelioma was allegedly caused by his workplace exposure to asbestos, ruling that defendants' arguments on appeal had been waived or failed to warrant reversal. Bugosh, et al. v. Allen Refractories Co., et al., Nos. 996, 997 & 998 WDA 2006 (Pa. Super. Ct.).
