LOS ANGELES - Several groups have filed an amici curiae brief urging a California appellate court to uphold a general order requiring product identification disclosures by plaintiffs and establishing a dismissal procedure, arguing it is a "common-sense rule" that relieves defendants of the burden of defending themselves against unsubstantiated claims. Snyder, et al. v. S.C.L.A., et al., No. B197993 (Calif. Ct. App., 2nd Dist.).
