BOSTON -- A Massachusetts jury has found for four packing, gasket and boiler defendants in a living mesothelioma trial, rejecting the plaintiff's contentions that the defendants' products caused his injuries. Balthazar, et al. v. A.W. Chesterton Co., et al., No. CA 06-3620 (Mass. Super. Ct., Middlesex Cty.).
The jury reached the verdict on June 1 after a trial which began with jury selection on April 26. Sources told HarrisMartin that although the case was filed in Massachusetts Superior Court for Middlesex County, the case was tried in Suffolk County before Judge Hely.
