CANTON, Ohio -- An Ohio appellate court has determined that an asbestos plaintiff's substantive rights were not affected by a trial court order denying his motion to reactivate his case because the order does not outright dismiss his claims outright.Jones v. A-Best Products, et al., No. 2006CA-00195 (Ohio Ct. App., 5th App. Dist.).
In the April 9 order, the Fifth Appellate District opined that the trial court properly stayed the proceedings pending the outcome of bankruptcy filings.
