California Appeals Court Upholds Asbestos Verdict for Negligent Supply




SAN FRANCISCO - A California appeals court has upheld a $2 million asbestos verdict, affirming that under a theory of negligent supply, a company that hired an independent contractor to work at its aerospace facility was liable for the asbestos-related lung cancer of one of the contractor's employees. Palmore, et al. v. Aerojet-General Corp., No. A088959 (Calif. Ct. App., 1st Dist.).
