HOUSTON - About 17,000 plaintiffs who entered into more than $150 million in settlement agreements with members of the Center for Claims Resolution are now suing the corporation claiming at least one of its members has fallen behind on payments. Abernathy, et al. v. Amchem Products Inc., et al., No. n/a (Texas Dist., Harris Cty.)
The suit, filed in Harris County District Court, alleges that the GAF Corp. has failed to pay its CCR-determined share of a settlement agreement that dates back to September 1998.
