BRIDGEPORT, Conn. - A Connecticut judge has ordered the GAF Corporation to pay two plaintiffs more than $50,000 under settlement agreements negotiated on its behalf by the Center for Claims Resolution (CCR). Purgatore v. AC&S, Inc., No. CV 960332388S (Conn. Super Ct., Fairfield Cty.).
Fairfield County Superior Court Judge Skolnick ruled Sept. 19 that there was no reason why the plaintiffs, who sued GAF and others for injuries allegedly caused by exposure to the company's asbestos-containing products, weren't entitled to the damages.
