NEW ORLEANS - The family of a woman who died of mesothelioma allegedly caused by household exposure to asbestos has opposed a construction contractor appellant's request for rehearing, stating that the issues raised in the application do not warrant modification of the unanimous opinion affirming the trial court's $1.5 million judgment. Chaisson, et al. v. Avondale Industries Inc., et al., No. 2005-CA-1511 (La. Ct. App., 4th Cir.).
