PHILADELPHIA - Allstate Insurance Co. has filed a declaratory judgment action seeking an order that two other insurers must contribute to defense costs and settlement payments arising from a mutual insured's liability for alleged exposure to asbestos. Allstate Insurance Co. v. Century Indemnity Co., et al., No. 06-4373 (E.D. Pa.).
Allstate filed the complaint Oct. 2 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania as subrogee of Arkema Inc. and its predecessors and subsidiaries.
