New York Trial Transcripts: Gadaleta v. ACandS

The following are opening and closing arguments made for both the plaintiffs and defendant in the New York trial, Gadaleta, et al. v. ACandS, et al., No. 110739/02 (N.Y. Sup. Ct., N.Y. Cty.). On Oct. 29, a jury unanimously determined that the plaintiffs did not present sufficient evidence indicating that he smoked cigarettes with asbestos-containing filters. Plaintiffs Frank and Jessie Gadaleta had argued that Frank Gadaleta developed lung cancer as a result of smoking original Kent cigarette filters that contained asbestos.
