Wash. Appeals Court Enforces E-Mail Settlement Agreement

SEATTLE - The Washington Court of Appeals has affirmed a lower court's order enforcing a $20,000 settlement agreement, finding that the plaintiff consented to settlement via e-mail. Anderson v. Kaiser Gypsum Co. Inc. No. 56470-6-I (Wash. Ct. App.).
On Aug. 14, the appellate court affirmed the Superior Court of King County's order, finding 'substantial evidence' that plaintiff Richard Anderson consented to the settlement agreement.
