S. 852 Would Burden Taxpayers, New Study Says
WASHINGTON -- A new study conducted by the National Taxpayers Union claims the Fairness in Asbestos Injury Resolution (FAIR) Act would costs taxpayers billions and worsen the litigation.
The NTU released the study on Dec. 8, in which it claims that the bill is flawed in structure and "guarantees failure." The study additionally urges lawmakers to reject the FAIR Act.
