COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The Ohio Supreme Court on Aug. 23 said it will address the constitutionality of the state's tort reform measure that limits non-economic and compensatory damages. Arbino v. Johnson & Johnson, et al. No. 2006-1212 (Ohio Sup. Ct.).

The questions that will be addressed by the Supreme Court relate to the constitutionality of limiting noneconomic and punitive damages and of allowing defendants to tell jurors the amount of collateral source benefits payable to the plaintiff.
