SAN FRANCISCO -- A California jury has awarded $10.3 million in a living mesothelioma lawsuit, finding lone defendant Thorpe Insulation Co. 15 percent liable for George Barnes' injury. Barnes, et al. v. A.W. Chesterton Co., et al., No. CGC-05-446017 (Calif. Super. Ct., San Francisco Cty.).
According to an Aug. 14 San Francisco Superior Court docket entry, the judgment entered against Thorpe Insulation will total $2,552,554.10.
