Proposed Alabama Legislation Tackles Statute of Limitations In Tort Claims

MONTGOMERY, Ala. - An Alabama senator has introduced legislation that would change statute of limitations laws, which currently allow claimants to file suit within two years of their last exposure to an alleged toxin.

The measure was introduced March 9 by Sen. Henry Sanders (D), who represents the 23rd District of Alabama.
