Pa. Jury Finds for Honeywell, Rejects Peritoneal Mesothelioma Claims

PHILADELPHIA -- A Pennsylvania jury has rejected the peritoneal mesothelioma claims in a non-occupational asbestos exposure case, finding for lone defendant Honeywell in the reverse bifurcated trial. Stafford v. Honeywell, No. PCCP Dec. 2005 No. 001893 (Pa. Ct. Comm. Pls., Philadelphia Cty.).
The unanimous Feb. 12 verdict was reached after less than one day of deliberations by the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas jury. Judge Myrna Field oversaw the week-long trial.
