WARREN, Ohio -- An Ohio appellate court has reversed a plaintiff verdict, saying the trial court erred when admitting evidence placing an asbestos-containing John Crane product at the decedent's work site. Baron, et al. v. GATX Corp., et al, No. 2005-T-0069 (Ohio Ct. App., 11th Dist., Trumball Cty.).
In a June 23 decision, the Ohio Court of Appeals for the Eleventh District ordered the trial court to enter a decision granting the defendant's motion for a judgment notwithstanding the verdict.
