Jury Finds for Packing, Gasket Defendants in Meso Case

LOS ANGELES -- Three packing and gasket defendants were exonerated of liability in a recent mesothelioma trial where the plaintiffs alleged exposure occurred while the decedent worked as a machinist mate in the U.S. Navy. Cunningham v. ACGO Corp., No. BC318049 (Calif. Super. Ct., Los Angeles Cty.).
Sources said that Warren Pumps, Buffalo Pumps and Leslie Controls were the remaining defendants at the time the Los Angeles Superior Court jury reached the Nov. 29 verdict. Judge Warren Ettinger oversaw the trial.
