Jury Finds for Foster Wheeler in U.S. Navy Boiler Exposure Case

LOS ANGELES -- A California jury has found for Foster Wheeler following a mesothelioma trial in which the plaintiff alleged naval exposure to asbestos-containing boiler products. McNamara v. Foster Wheeler, No. BC342803 (Calif. Super. Ct., Los Angeles Cty.).
The Los Angeles County Superior Court jury reached the verdict on Aug. 2 after a trial before Judge Elihu Berle.
John and Tricia McNamara contended that John's work as a boiler tender for two years in the U.S. Navy exposed him to Foster Wheeler asbestos-containing equipment, resulting in his mesothelioma.
