Widow Awarded $725,000 for Husband's Asbestos Exposure

DAINGERFIELD, Texas - The wife of a man who died of mesothelioma in January after years of exposure to asbestos at a steel and ammunition plant has been awarded $725,000 by a jury in Morris County, Texas. Moore v. Able Supply Co., et al., No. 20831 (Texas Dist. Ct., Morris Cty.).
The jury handed up its verdict July 27, finding that defendant Brown & Root's negligence contributed to Robert Moore's development of mesothelioma and subsequent death.
