Texas Appellate Court Affirms Take-Nothing Verdict

EASTLAND, Texas -- A Texas appellate court has affirmed a take-nothing verdict, opining that there was considerable disagreement between expert witnesses during trial over whether the plaintiff was exposed to Bondex International Co.'s, asbestos-containing products. Dori v. Bondex International, No. 11-04-00179 (Texas 11th Ct. App.).
In a June 8 opinion, the Texas Eleventh Court of Appeals found that the jury's failure to award damages 'were [not] so against the great weight and preponderance of the evidence as to be manifestly unjust.'
