Pa. Jury Returns Defense Verdict in Living Meso Case




PITTSBURGH -- A Pennsylvania jury recently reached a defense verdict in a living mesothelioma lawsuit, finding insufficient evidence that the plaintiff's asbestos exposure caused the injury. Iman, et al. v. Pittsburgh Gage and Supply, et al., No. GD 04-28784 (Pa. Ct. Comm. Pls., Allegheny Cty.).

The Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas for Allegheny County jury reached the defense verdict on March 27 after less than two hours of deliberations. Judge Robert J. Colville oversaw the five-day trial.
