Texas Asbestos MDL Judge Enters New CMO

HOUSTON --- Judge Mark Davidson of the Texas 11th Judicial District Court has entered a second amended case management order in the state's asbestos MDL. In re: Asbestos Litigation, No. 2004-03964 (Texas 11th Jud. Dist. Ct., Harris Cty.).

The Second Case Management Order stipulates that there is no deadline to transfer any cases filed before Sept. 1, 2003, to the MDL. However, cases filed after Sept. 1, 2003, must be transferred to the proceedings within 30 days of the defendant's answer.
