Court Enters Order Consolidating 6 Asbestos Cases for Trial

NEW YORK -- A New York court has arranged a trial schedule for nine asbestos cases, pulling three of the cases from the consolidated trial plan, after finding that the plaintiffs' allegations were dissimilar. In re: New York City Asbestos Litigation, Nos. 102034-05, 106990-05, 102909-05, 102027-05, 102032-05, 102910-05, 103663-05, 103664-05, 102675-05 (N.Y. Sup. Ct., New York Cty.).

In the Jan. 19 order, Judge Martin Shulman of the New York Supreme Court for New York County, ordered the six cases to be consolidated for the purposes of trial.
