Jury Awards $7.5 Million to Widows of Three Men Who Died of Mesothelioma

BALTIMORE - A Baltimore jury has awarded $7.5 million to the widows of three men who were diagnosed with mesothelioma after being exposed to asbestos on the job. Gallagher v. AC&S, No. 24X00000374 (Md. Cir. Ct., Baltimore Cty.).
The April 24 verdict against AC&S and John Crane came after a three-week trial in which the jury determined that the three occupational exposures to asbestos from pipe coverings and gaskets contributed to the deaths of Richard Gallagher, John Grey and James Tamburrino.
