GREENVILLE, Miss. - A Mississippi man's asbestosis lawsuit was recently dismissed by a judge who said the plaintiff notified the defendant three days after the required 120 day notification period. Riley v. Georgia Pacific Corp., et al. No. 1:05-cv-255 (N.D. Miss.).
Claude Riley sued Georgia Pacific Corp., Daimler Chrysler Corp. and Komp Equipment Co. on May 19 in the Circuit Court of Attala County, Mississippi. Riley alleged his May 21 2002, diagnosis of asbestosis resulted from working with asbestos-containing products manufactured by the defendants.
