WILMINGTON, Del. - The committee chosen to represent claimants in the Armstrong World Industries bankruptcy proceedings has filed a series of objections, most notably to discourage lawyers from pursuing any further relief from asbestos claims in Congress. In re: Armstrong World Industries, Inc., et al., No. 00-4441 (D. Del. Bankr.).
Objections to several firms appointed by Armstrong were filed Dec. 27 in U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, where the company's bankruptcy proceedings are currently underway.
