Pa. Jury Finds for Garlock in Mesothelioma Case

EASTON, Pa. -- A Pennsylvania jury has found for Garlock Sealing Technologies in a mesothelioma trial in which the plaintiffs claimed exposure to asbestos occurred as a child and while employed at a mining and cement operation. Smith, et al. v. Allied Signal Inc., et al., No. C-48-AB-2005-87 (Pa. Ct. Comm. Pls., Northampton Cty.).
The Court of Common Pleas for Northampton County jury reached the verdict on Nov. 8 after a nine-day trial overseen by Judge Edward Smith.
