Court Finds Dow Chemical in Contempt, Enters Judgement for Plaintiffs

INDIANAPOLIS -- A state court has found asbestos defendant Dow Chemical in contempt of court and entered judgment for the plaintiffs, finding that Dow Chemical had failed comply with discovery responses. Casper, et al. v. Dow Chemical Co., et al., No. 49D02-9801-MI-001-295 (Ind. Super. Ct., Marion Cty.).
In the Nov. 1 order, the Indiana Superior Court for Marion County said that only a trial on damages only would begin on Nov. 8.
