RICHMOND, Va. -- An appellate court has affirmed judgment in an asbestos verdict, opining that the defendant was not in a position to 'complain about the method of apportionment.' Garlock Sealing Technologies v. Little, et al., No. 050002 (Va. Sup. Ct.).
In a Nov. 4 opinion, the Virginia Supreme Court additionally found that maritime law was correctly applied in the case, in which the plaintiff alleged exposure as a repairman on U.S. Navy ships.
