Article: "Frequency and Risk of Asbestos-Related Lung Cancer"
Summary: Study reveals that lung cancer related to heavy occupational exposure to asbestos occurred in four percent of test population and that there appeared to exist a synergistic effect when exposure was combined with smoking. Researchers concluded that occupational exposure to asbestos doubles the risk of suffering from lung cancer.
