Mesothelioma Case Settles Two Days into Jury Deliberations

AUSTIN, Texas -- Garlock has settled claims with a former boiler tender for twice the amount last offered at mediation, sources told HarrisMartin. Susan Ingraham v. Garlock Sealing Technologies, LLC. No. GN1-02642 (Texas 201st Dist. Ct., Travis Cty.).
The settlement came after a jury in the Texas 201st District Court for Travis County had been deliberating for two days, sources indicated.
Judge Suzanne Covington allowed the jury to deliberate on marketing defect and negligence theories.
