W.R. Grace Claimants Want Stay of Fraudulent Transfer Actions Lifted




WILMINGTON, Del. - The Claimant's Committees in the W.R. Grace & Co. bankruptcy proceedings have filed a motion with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware seeking authority to prosecute fraudulent transfer claims pending against the company.

In the June 14 motion, the committees - composed of representatives of personal injury and property damage claimants - seek authorization to prosecute and enforce all claims arising out of W.R. Grace's alleged attempt to shield billions of dollars in assets from the company's asbestos liability.
