LAFAYETTE, La. -- A federal court has remanded an asbestos action for the second time, reiterating that improper joinder must be grounded in legal viability, not evidence. LeBlanc, et al. v. Georgia-Pacific, et al., No. 04-2335 (W.D. La.).

Opining that Honeywell had 'not answered the correct question in its analysis,' the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana remanded the asbestos claims of Jimmie LeBlanc in a July 13 order.
