Sen. Specter Expected to Introduce Asbestos Bill Soon

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Sen. Arlen Specter (R.Pa.) recently met with Republican committee members to discuss any remaining concerns they may have with the Fairness in Asbestos Injury Resolution Act, sources told HarrisMartin Publishing.
Sources indicated that the bill could be formally introduced within a week.
While Sen. Specter remains optimistic about his latest asbestos compensation bill proposal, many senators have opposed key provisions in the bill.
