HARTFORD, Conn. - Connecticut's Court of Appeals affirmed April 12 that Greater New York Mutual Insurance Co must provide coverage for decades-old asbestos exposure claims despite the claimant's inability to produce the actual policy. ACMAT Corp. v. Greater New York Mutual Insurance Co., No. AC 25099 (Conn. App.).
ACMAT Corp. filed this declaratory judgment action based on a certificate of insurance issued to ACMAT predecessor Acoustical Materials Corp.
