NEW YORK -- Several groups have filed an amici curiae brief in support of the N.Y. Port Authority, which is appealing an order in which a state court reversed summary judgment and determined that the defendant did in fact owe a duty of care to a woman alleging asbestos exposure by way of her husband's clothing. Holdampf, et al. v. ACandS, et al., No. 3478/04 (N.Y. Ct. App.).
