AUSTIN, Texas -- The Texas Supreme Court has granted a motion to consolidate two mandamus petitions filed over a dispute involving the establishment of an unimpaired docket. In re: Union Carbide Corp, et al., No. 04-1120; In re: ExxonMobil Corp., et al., No. 04-1121 (Texas Sup. Ct.).
On March 16, the state's highest court ordered that the relators file their consolidated brief by April 15, that the real parties in interest file their response brief by May 5, and that the relators file their reply brief no later than May 20.
