Indiana Jury Delivers Defense Verdict in Mesothelioma Case

INDIANAPOLIS -- A jury has unanimously determined that Ford Motor Co., General Motors Corp. and BorgWarner Inc. were not liable for an Indiana man's mesothelioma. Petruzzi, et al. v. A.W. Chesteron, et al., No. 49D02-9601-MI-0001-725 (Ind. Sup. Ct. 2, Marion Cty.).
On Feb. 1, jurors in the Indiana Superior Court #2 for Marion County rejected the plaintiffs' claims that Julian Petruzzi's work as a salesman and auto mechanic led to his development of mesothelioma.
