1 TITLE:"Occupational and Environmental Exposures and Lung Cancer in an Industrialized Area in Italy."

SUMMARY: The authors' aim was to investigate the effects of occupational exposures to asbestos and residence in correlation with industrial sites and the effects on lung cancer mortality in an area in Italy. Smoking habits and occupational exposure to asbestos were significantly associated with lung cancer risk. Reported traffic level of area of residence and residence near the four sources were not associated with increased risk of lung cancer.
