Texas Judge Denies Forum Motion in Mich. Resident's Case, Advises Against Future Filings

WHARTON, Texas - The judge overseeing the Texas state court asbestos MDL has denied a motion to dismiss a Michigan plaintiff's exposure claim for lack of jurisdiction, but has cautioned counsel filing cases on behalf of out-of-state plaintiffs that it may be difficult for them to get expedited trial settings in the future.
