SAN FRANCISCO - A mechanical contractor accused of creating a dangerous condition that a California pipefitter claimed was the reason he developed lung cancer has been cleared of liability by a San Francisco Jury. Murray v. Pacific Mechanical Corp., No. 308091 (Calif. Super. Ct., San Francisco Cty.).
After a seven-week-long trial and more than five days of deliberation, the San Francisco Superior Court jury found for defendant Pacific Mechanical Corporation, the company plaintiff Everett Murray had alleged was responsible for his illness.
