Jury Enters $1 Million Verdict Against ExxonMobil

SAN FRANCISCO -- A jury has entered a $1.083 million against ExxonMobil in an asbestosis and colon cancer lawsuit. Sandy v. Exxon Mobil Corp., et al., No. 324212 (Calif. Super. Ct., San Francisco Cty.).
The jury reached the verdict on Feb. 16 after a three-week trial in front of Judge Gail Dekreon of the California Superior Court for San Francisco County. ExxonMobil was the only remaining defendant at the time of the verdict.
