California: Over the past year, California has seen the most significant activity in the area of premises liability, affecting the asbestos litigation directly and indirectly. In addition to turning out several verdicts in cases involving asbestos exposure to workers at plants owned by Exxon Mobil, California courts have handled an extremely active premises docket, reporting decisions in cases such as Minster v.
