BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - An Alabama district court judge ruled Jan. 26 that an insurer's refusal to provide further asbestos-related coverage is justified because recently found documents show that the company's name was not listed on the policies. Commercial Union Insurance Company v. Sepco Corporation v. United National Insurance Company, et al. No. 81-G-1215-S (N. D. Ala.)

The law-of-the-case doctrine no longer applied to a pending summary judgment motion, Judge J. Foy Guin Jr. found in ruling for insurers.
